ITC Penampang gets facilitation funding through TERAJU

Sabanilam Enterprise Sdn Bhd, a Bumiputera developer signed the Tripartite Facilitation Fund Agreement with the government and Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad in relation to the development of the International Technology and Commercial Centre (ITCC), Penampang yesterday.

The signing ceremony, held at Magellan Sutera Harbour, in conjunction with the launch of TERAJU, was witnessed by the Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop. The signatories were Dato’ Sri Dr. Ali Hamsa, Director General, Public Private Partnership Unit (UKAS, JPM), Zakaria Saad, Vice President, Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad and Datin Seri Panglima Sylvia Malakun, Managing Director, Sabanilam Enterprise Sdn Bhd.

Sabah is on target to wipe out poverty. A "focus group" had been set up to monitor projects to ensure that the government's to wipe out poverty  were carried out efficiently.

Musa: SDC projects to boost economy

Total cumulative investment committed under the private sector led Sabah Development Corridor (SDC) projects has reached RM63.16b as at November 2011 while the realised investment amounted t RM16.06b. The total did not include new SDC entry point projects identified following Regional Cities and Corridor Lab which were expected to be announced during its open day schedule for early 2012. A total of RM958b of the total allocation disbursed to Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (SEDIA) has been spent as at December 5 as payment for work and services rendered for SDC projects listed under 9MP bur carried over into the 10MP. The balance of the outstanding allocation was expected to be channelled to SEDIA next year during the Seconf Rolling Paln commencing. SDC would be given an allocation of RM206m - RM416m for 2012 and RM210m for 2013.
